Yoga Nidrā is a practice of deep relaxation, resembling guided meditation, that takes place in the liminal space between wake and sleep. Using a series of body-awareness and brain-balancing techniques, one can transcend the conditioned mind and awaken undiscovered potential. As the deepest levels of the mind become accessible, one can release the very seeds of tension, anxiety, unwanted habits, and self-limiting beliefs in order to reveal the underlying peace beneath them. Often emphasized for its therapeutic applications, like alleviating stress, depression, trauma/PTSD, it ushers the practitioner into a place of expanded self-awareness where one can realize an undisturbable calm as their most essential and natural state.
